The Delaware County Democratic Party has announced the awarding of two $500 college scholarships to area high school students. Each application was evaluated on the basis of academic standing, extracurricular activities, community service, political activity, and career goals.
Recently, four of our DelaDems testified at the Ohio Statehouse to comment on bills that are currently making their way through the legislature. There are numerous organizations and associations working towards democracy and fair elections in Delaware County. We are lucky in the expertise and involvement of our activists. One of the most interesting types of activities that has found renewed enthusiasm since the 2016 election are neighborhood discussion groups.
As an advocate, teacher, and mother of two, I believe deeply in the value of service. I live in Powell with my husband David and our children Hannah and Nate. I love this community and when you love something, you fight for it. That’s why I’m running for Powell City Council.

March 29, 2019 – My passion for environmental issues started in 1970 when Ralph Nader spoke at a presentation when I was at Ohio State.
I raised my kids in Marysville and lived there 23 years. During that time I became involved in a number of local issues. I also served two terms as a township trustee.
