Request an Absentee Ballot if you cannot Early Vote in-person during the Early Voting period or cannot get to your polling location on Election Day.
The DCDP recommends in-person Early Voting. In-person Early voting is available 30 days before Election Day and up to the day prior to Election Day until 2:00pm. Currently the only Early Voting location within Delaware County is located at the Delaware County Board of Elections, 2079 U.S. Hwy 23 N, Delaware, OH 43015 (in the same building as the BMV).
If you are unable to make it to your polling location on your own, the Delaware County Democratic Party offers a Ride-to-the-Polls service. Please go to this link to request a ride: Ride to the Polls
Download an Absentee Ballot Application form. Note: this is not a ballot. It is an application to receive a ballot. Once completed, the Application Form must be delivered to the Delaware County Board of Elections. When your Ballot Application has been approved, you will be mailed your Absentee Ballot. Completed Absentee Ballots must be received by, or post-marked, no later than the day before the election (please submit sooner to be on the safe side).
