The Chairperson’s duties is as chief executive officer and shall be subject to the directions of and responsible to the County Executive Committee. The Chairperson shall appoint Chairs for existing committees and establish and appoint Chairs for other committees as is recommended by the bylaws or deemed necessary for the well-organized operation of the Party.
1st Vice Chair and 2nd Vice Chair Responsibilities:
The First Vice-Chairperson acts as the Chair in case of an absence of the Chair, and in such event, has the same powers, duties, and responsibilities as the Chair until such time as the Central Committee elects a new Chair. In the event the First Chair is unable to serve as Chair, the Second Vice-Chair acts as the Chair.
The Secretary is in charge of all documents of the Executive Committee and of the preparation of the necessary notices, minutes and other documents. They preserve files and other documents; and preserve files and records and opens them for examination at appropriate times at the request of any elected member of the Executive Committee.
The Treasurer has custody of the funds of the Party and renders up-to-date financial reports to each meeting of the Executive Committee. The Treasurer is accountable for all receipts and expenditures of the party, subject to the direction of the Finance Committee. They are responsible for handling of Party funds.
